Last year the Holy Spirit schooled me on the subject of faith. He challenged me to dig deep into God's Word and study this topic until I was done, a journey that lasted several weeks. During that time He completely transformed my understanding about what faith really is and the role it should play in a Christian's life. My soul was encouraged and incredible, life-changing revelations were imparted to me by His Spirit. After finishing the study God instructed me to develop a teaching series based on what I learned. This series, entitled "Let's Talk About Faith," is the fruit of that work. It is my privilege and joy to share it with you here on this web site and I encourage you to listen and meditate on it.

Ready... set... preach!

One of our assignments for School of Ministry was to write and preach a sermon.

There were times during the last nine months when we felt like this day would never come, but it finally has. We graduated from Life Church School of Ministry last night. Woohoo!

Even though Jesus was God He operated as fully man while he walked the earth.

Guess what?!? Now I'm  one of those "crazy" tongue-talking charismatics like Jade, and I couldn't be more thrilled!

When Jade and I started dating it became apparent that we had some pretty big theological differences. Don't misunderstand me; we were both born-again Christians. It's just that I was raised in the Nazarene Church and she was Spirit-filled, which was something I did not understand at the time.
